Frequently Asked Questions

How does it work?

  • Is the print permanent?

Thanks to UV technology, the prints are not only vivid and detailed, but also resistant to solar radiation, which guarantees their long durability. The image is hardened with UV light at the time of printing, creating a thin, protected coating that is immediately resistant to dirt, scratches and fading.

Wall printing can also be used to decorate walls or walls outdoors – inks hardened with UV light are resistant to weather conditions – the same technology is used to print outdoor advertising, light panels and high-quality banners.

  • How to prepare a wall for printing

A wall that is going to be printed does not require special treatment, but like any other surface, it requires cleaning – just wipe the printed surface with a wet cloth. For heavier dirt, you can use regular detergent.

The print may be washed off if you use strong chemicals intended for cleaning stickers, inscriptions, paints, etc.

A hard, resistant coating is formed on the surface hardened with UV rays, but it will certainly be damaged by plucking with tools, hitting with hard objects or long scraping – the image is as resistant to mechanical damage as the surface on which it was printed.

Surfaces for printing with a UV wall printer do not require special preparation.

However, if you want to extend the durability of the painting, the plaster must not fall off and also clean it of any dust.

In order not to damage the printer, which works very close to the surface -> remove protruding elements such as contacts, shelves or picture hangers.

You do not need to protect other surfaces – the printer does not splash and generates absolutely no pollution.

After printing, we disassemble the printer and go, and you can even touch the wall 🙂 The wall print dries before each fragment is visible to our eyes.

  • What if i get bored with the print

All you need to do is cover the surface of the wall print with 2-3 layers of regular wall paint and you have a ready surface for creative work. Only in the case of prints on wood, light sanding of the surface may be required. You can remove the print on the windshield or glass using an appropriate detergent and a glass scraper.

  • What surface is suitable for printing?

Plaster, Brick, Glass, Wood, Ceramic tiles, OSB boards, Canvas, Roll-up Banners, Car, Doors, Refrigerators, Enclosures, ANY flat surface, Building walls, Garage doors, Wallpaper

  • Are there any size limits?

    Height

Wall printing is possible up to a height of 3 m, but we are not limited to this – by setting up scaffolding we can print up to the sky. Thanks to computer technology and built-in sensors, we can stitch an image from several parts and interrupt the work of the wall printer at any time to start it at the next level or on another day.

    Width

The possibilities of a wall printer are endless here! The printer itself moves on wheels along the wall, printing an image as wide as we specify. If the surface of the ground is not even, we spread the rails on which it will move to eliminate vibrations affecting the smoothness of the image – e.g. due to tile joints or uneven/sandy terrain under the wall.

    Limiting elements

If there are bordering elements on the sides of the surface on which we are printing – another wall, a pole, a column, a tree, etc., we must create a safe space of 30-40 cm on the sides so that our printer does not bounce off it 🙂

From the ground, depending on its unevenness and whether or not rails are used – we also count a distance of 30-40 cm.

    The same for any ceiling.

If we print not on a wall but on another surface that has no bordering elements, the print will cover the entire surface

The wall printer has built-in surface sensors, thanks to which it constantly selects the appropriate distance from the printed surface – this allows for uniform coverage of uneven surfaces, such as a brick wall or surfaces with slight defects.

  • How much does it cost?

To evaluate your idea we need:

    • information about the printing area in full m2
    • photos of the surface and surroundings (bordering elements and ground)
    • information whether we will need an additional platform or scaffolding
    • photos of your idea or description of your vision
    • address where we will print

You can also write what your budget is and I will prepare an offer that will fit into it.

  • I have no idea what to print - can you help?

Just tell us what you like, what you want to achieve and we will design something especially for you. We also have photo banks at our disposal, as well as a great team of digital painting and graphic design skills.

If you are planning a wall print not at home but in your company – send us your brand and we will tell you how we can best present it on your walls.

If you decide to cooperate, we will make visualizations for you so that you know what to expect.

However, we do not print works/ideas of other creators who have exclusive rights to a given design. In this case, you must obtain a license or treat it as an inspiration on the basis of which we will create your individual project.
